STOP 1
Flight from UK to Delhi
Delhi
You will arrive at New Delhi International Airport where your transfer will be waiting to drop you off at your hotel. Once settled into your hotel, you will embark on a half-day combine city tour of Delhi. See the mesmerizing sites that still exist from the 6th Century BC. Some of the most intriguing sites that you’ll set your eyes upon include Jama Masjid; the largest mosque in India, the Red Fort, President House, India Gate and Humayun’s Tomb.

STOP 2
A 4 hour and 30 minute drive from Delhi to Agra begins just after breakfast. Once arrived in Agra you’ll have some down time before beginning a half-day tour of Agra. Scroll through time as you see the spectacular Agra Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 1565. You’ll also get to see the iconic Taj Mahal; a mausoleum built as a symbol of devotion to Emperor Shah Jehan’s Queen, Mumtaz Mahal. Thousands upon thousands of workers spent 21 years to build this iconic structure.

STOP 3
Day 3 consists of more wonderful tours taking you through the historical significance of India. From Agra, you can drive to Ranthambore by going through Fatehpur Sikri; a small-protected city made from red sandstone built by Emperor Akbar. This small-protected town is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site with colourful bazaars nearby. Later in the day you will continue your journey to Ranthambore where you will stay here overnight.

STOP 4
Spend your first day in Rathambore exploring India’s well-known Rathambore National Park by shared safari jeep; significantly know for its protection of the Tiger, also homes leopards, birds, reptiles and marsh crocodiles. If you want to know more about the Big Cats, you can attend the evening talks by expert naturalists.

STOP 5
Wake up feeling fresh from the previous days activities, once you’ve eaten breakfast and enjoyed a shared jeep safari you’ll enjoy a drive to Jaipur, which takes around 3.5 hours. Once you’ve checked into your hotel and made yourself comfy, head out to Jaipur’s vibrant surroundings, known as the ‘Pink City’, Jaipur features rose coloured buildings made up of forts, museums and temples. Some of the most popular things to do while in Jaipur such as visiting Elefantastic’s Elephant Farm, Sheesh Mahal’s Hall of Mirrors experience and Jantar Mantar’s architectural structures. You’ll stay overnight in your hotel in Jaipur.

STOP 6
Your second day in Jaipur will consist of a City Tour of Jaipur. Set your eyes (and camera) on palaces, lakes and forts. Explore Jaipur the traditional way – by Elephant. The incredible Hawa Mahal will be apart of your tour, used as a wall to protect the women of the royal household from being seen while viewing the street festivals. Other tour highlights include City Palace, Jantar mantar and Albert Hall. You’ll stay overnight in Jaipur.

STOP 7
Day 7 and 8 will consist of travelling. After breakfast you will drive from Jaipur to Delhi, which takes around 6 hours and then you will board a flight to Trivandrum. When you arrive in Trivandrum you will check in at your hotel situated in Kovalam, is home to coconut groves and gorgeous beaches, with 4 sandy bays separated by rocky formations.

STOP 8
Explore the best of Trivandrum’s highlights with a half-day sightseeing tour. Explore its history through the many museums and galleries including the Napier Museum; a 19th century building, which houses rare collections of archaeological and historical artifacts including bronze idols, ancient ornaments and a temple chariot. For gallery and framed pieces, check out the Shree Chitra Kala Art Gallery or the Palace Museum. The tour continues with a visit to Padmanabhaswamy Temple, which was dedicated to Lord Vishnu. At the end of your tour, you will visit Veli, a tourist village with charming lakes that merge with the Arabian Sea, and make for the perfect spot for a picnic.

The drive from Kovalam to Alleppey takes 5 hours, once arrived; you will hop in a backwater cruise through Lake Vembanad. Explore rural villages via this floating houseboat, complete with bedroom and en-suite facilities. Enjoy the sights as you cruise through canals and lagoons and feast on freshly caught fish. This part of the tour includes meals and accommodation onboard the Houseboat.

After your refreshing nights sleep onboard the /houseboat, you’ll enjoy a tasty breakfast then head on a drive to Cochin, which will take around 1 hour and 40 minutes in which you’ll arrive at your hotel. You’ll stay in Kerala, home to palm fringe beaches, tea, coffee and spice plantations and National Parks featuring a collection of wildlife. You’ll stay overnight in Kerala, Cochin.

Experience Cochin with a half-day tour including a visit to Fort Cochin and Mattancherry, which will allow you to see the historical Synagogue, which was built over 400 years ago Hindu art pieces can be seen in the Dutch Palace in Mattancherry. On the tour you will drive past the incredible Chinese fishing nets positioned out to the peninsula as well as seeing Willingdon Island; a man-made island that belongs to the Port Trust and Indian Navy. During the evening you will be entertained with a Kathakali dance performance, which dates back to the 17th Century. You will stay overnight in your hotel in Cochin.
