STOP 1
Hotel Jeris

On arrival at Hotel Jeris you will be supplied with everything you need to stay cozy and warm such as a thermal winter suit, winter boots, woolen socks, inner and outer gloves, winter hat and balaclava.
Hotel Jeris offers a cozy base with traditional Scandinavian interiors that exude with traditional features for a classic experience, such as the smell of pine and wood smoke misting the rooms and the cozy furniture will make you feel comfy and snug. Compromising of 26 cozy rooms and cabins, Hotel Jeris brings the beauty of the outdoors inside. The Jerisranta Log Cabins are located near the hotel and lake, each compromising of a fireplace and private sauna. Ideal for nature activities such as hiking trips in the summer and skiing tracks in the winter, Hotel Jeris invites you to explore your adventurous side with snowmobile activities, dogsled safaris as well as two outdoor heated pools overlooking the spectacular Jerisjavi Lake and surrounding forest. Between excursions it’s worth popping into the spa for an afternoon of relaxation, and the hotel’s Restaurant is the perfect place to tuck into delicious delicacies of Finland’s local fare with dishes such as sautéed reindeer and Arctic char.
STOP 2
After a hearty breakfast at Hotel Jeris Restaurant you will take a transfer to a local reindeer farm to meet the reindeer, this is a great opportunity to feed them and you will even get the chance to learn how to lasso though and experience a short reindeer ride. Depending on weather conditions you will enjoy a lunch served in the ice restaurant before returning back to the hotel. During the afternoon you will visit the husky farm for a guided tour and get up close to some of the husky pups. Here you will learn all about the gorgeous dogs before heading out on a 6km safari! Later on the evening you will tuck into a delicious Christmas dinner and enjoy time at your leisure at the hotel.
STOP 3
For your last full day in Finland you will embark on a 20km snowmobile safari (two adults sharing a snowmobile and children sitting in a sled pulled by a local guide). After a short break for lunch you will bake some delicious Finnish cookies for desert as well as making a Christmas stocking. The afternoon presents an array of snow-filled adventure, why not try snowshoeing, ice fishing or dash down the toboggan slope, plus Children can drive their own mini snow mobile! The highlight of your day will be a trip into the forest by snowmobile sled where you will discover Santa’s secret hideout! Make sure the little ones bring along their letters to Santa, as the well-behaved children will receive an early Christmas present!
